But not terrible honestly. I guess, I kinda expected some things to be said just based in the preview but If you think people were believing this movie was just intended as a takedown of the church and was horrible, I’d disagree, I enjoyed it. It was more of a crazy person trying to push his agenda on the missionaries.

To me, here were the only things that were said about the church that were negative ish.

They mentioned Joseph Smith sleeping with young brides in the context of polygamy. (pretty common anti Mormon storyline that most people already have heard)

One of the sisters said she felt the spirit for the first time after she watched pornography. (People literally laughed in the theatre during this).

They say the church is made up but he also says all churches are made up…

It also portrays the sisters as thoughtful and smart with convictions who try to follow the rules and were placed in a crummy spot.
