Be careful what you wish for. The current format is very favorable to
non-SEC and non-Big Ten teams. ASU crapping the bed because they call a stupid blitz and the refs screwing them on the targeting call had nothing to do with extra rest.
The last thing we need is for the Big 12 to never get a bye and go on the road to SEC and Big Ten venues in the playoff every year.
