The best part is they think they should have to do it without playing games to get there. SEC and Big 10 already had 7/12 odds in their favor. Easily could’ve gone the other direction for Texas. If Georgia lost and no SEC teams remained would that then mean that the SEC doesn’t deserve to be considered for the playoff in the future? The playoffs exist so that we can play the games and no who should be crowned through just a pick and crown process.
