Season, the last quarter of the regular season and the post season. Winning the pre season means starting the season ranked. Winning the first 3/4 of the regular season means winning enough to be in the discussion for the CFP. Winning the last 1/4 means finishing strong and getting into the CFB. Winning the last is making the CFB. We lost the preseason, won the first 3/4, lost the last 1/4 and then lost the CFP (even though we ended up with the best possible outcome besides making the CFP). Next year we are going to notch a win in the preseason.
