Penn State is the epitome of the good ol’ boys club. Any school outside that power structure that harbored a serial pedophile like Sandusky would have gotten the death penalty. However, because of Joe Paterno and blue blood status, Penn State got a slap on the wrist and went forward, business as usual.

Anything that begins to put a chink in the armor of the college football power structure is a good thing.
