Based on our strength of schedule to date, it’s probably too early to say it, but I’m going to say it anyway. This is the deepest BYU team of my lifetime and I cannot think of a true rival.

It seems to me that Young is trying to go with something that resembles an NBA rotation with a true 2nd team, but he does not have NBA minutes with which to work.

He’s gonna have to tighten things up, and some very capable players are going to get the short end of the stick. It sucks for them. I want every deserving player to have a fantastic BYU experience, but I just don’t know if it’s in the cards this year. In order to maximize the team’s competitiveness, I think we’re going to have to ride or die with our best 8-9 the great majority of the time.
