What if: What if the CFP committee DIDN'T overrank Clemson?
SOOOO, what if Army as the American Champ at 11-1 had been ranked #17 and Clemson, fluke winner of the ACC with three losses had be ranked #18....
That would have resulted in SMU getting in as #11, and ARMY being the 5th ranked conference champ, and being #12.
The thing the messed up the CFP all year long was massively overranking the ACC all season long....
Clemson was NO WHERE NEAR the #16th team in the country.
