He was indoctrinated to hate BYU. I’ve spoken to a Ute that came from Cal,
couldn’t care less about the rivalry but when he got to Utah - that was all they talked about. He developed a hatred for BYU from that atmosphere…I’m not totally against the rival level hate…to a point - but I think Utah passes that point without looking back.
