cougarmeister How does this work?
Every time BYU gets a transfer from UU, their fans work each other into a frenzy
...about how BYU only got that transfer because they illegally recruited the player, and then the UU mob swallows that (unfounded) rumor hook, line, and sinker as 100% verified truth and they start spouting off about how dishonest and hypocritical BYU is; how BYU admin, players, and fans love to talk about honor and being Christian, but they are not really that way, they are just pretending.

In 2011, UU fans (and even basketball HC Larry "$80K" Krystkoviak) made the same accusations when Josh Sharp transferred from the UU basketball team after his mission, and it didn't matter that Josh and his parents publicly denied the accusations/insinuations, it was canonized in UU fan lore as gospel truth.

And again in 2020 when Caleb Lohner signed with UU but then decided to transfer to BYU, UU fans rolled out the same accusations of illegal tampering/recruiting, except that time they even took it up a notch by saying that BYU had offered Lohner's dad a job in Provo.

This is just the same old crap, recycled from earlier transfers.
