BYU's Alamo Bowl win over Colorado with Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter is comparable to the Cougar's Holiday Bowl win over SMU with Craig James and Eric Dickerson.
I say this win was better because it was on a bigger stage. It remains to be seen whether Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter will be as good in the NFL as Craig James and Eric Dickerson.

I think the pre-death penalty 1980 SMU team had elite talent and it took a miracle for BYU to win.
