Nice try, but that wasn't just crowded, he was still engaged with a defensive player, and shovel passes are intended to
be thrown into that area fair enough, but not if the player still has one arm wrapped up with a defender.
Never should have been throw, run to the sideline, but you don't throw it into that mass of bodies.
