The computers just allow the committee to hide their bias in the algorithms. I
like that there is at least a person that people can call out for their bias.

What I think should happen is something more along the lines of what MBB does. Provide the measurement criteria and let teams prove it on the field and then choose based on the criteria. Make teams play no more than 7 home games. Make teams play at least one "Quad 1 or 2" opponents (not just cream puff non-conf schedules). I also think they should push conference divisions and make the conference championship games be the "first round" of the playoff. The committee can push teams to play the types of games/competition that people want to see.

And then they need to stick to that criteria and not given in to a conference claiming that they should have more. Boo-hoo.
