Wow! Crazy! I'm okay paying a markup, I'd rather buy direct though--cut out the
broker fees. I'm looking at good seats for a decent price (still above face value) on SeetGeek right now with $40 fees for the pair. I'd much rather pay the ticket holder a quarter of those fees and buy directly from them than pay more with neither of us benefitting.
Just agreeing with you point that the ticket category is the best option for best deals.
