average in the conference. I know ESPN shows there were some higher but most of those are just 1 return. Example our guy that ran the onsides back for a TD is highest average but doesn't really compare.
He was 3rd in total yards, the 2 he was behind had 2 and 9 more attempts, again his average was better.
Makes no sense that he wasn't 1st team Conference, when he is on most if not all All-American 1st teams.
The guy who was first team B12 was Noel from Iowa State. In punt returns he wasn't even the top in average or yards and didn't run one back either punt or kickoff. He only had 2 attempts at Kick Return.
I think the problem was they only chose one return guy, but again he wasn't even the highest total yards, average, and didn't return anything for a TD. Really makes no sense no matter how you slice the pie.
