I could be way off hear - someone check me if I'm wrong.
But it sure seems like beating Utah head to head and finishing with an 11-2 record versus Utah's 5-7 record (2-7 in conference) would do a LOT more to close any "perception" of there being a gap between the two programs.
Is that just me?
Is there a perception that Utah is clearly a better program and BYU has to steal their players in an effort to try to bridge the gap?
