Along the Oregon coast - go to:
- the Sea Lion Caves
- the aquarium in Newport
- Tillamook ice cream factory in Tillamook
- Go to Mo's restaurant in Newport. Get their clam chowder
- Seaside and Astoria, OR are nice towns for visiting
- Get seafood while on the coast
- Visit the lighthouse in Newport.

Along the Washington coast:
- Westport is a nice town. If you want to go deep sea fishing this is a great place for it.
- In Westport - go to Bennett's Fish Shack. Excellent sandwiches and seafood
- If you are camping - reserve well in advance to stay at the Kalaloch National Campground. It's right on the beach.
- While at Kalaloch visit some of the beaches - esp Beach #3 at low tide. Cool tide pools
- We like the beach at Westport better than the beach at Ocean Shores across the bay.
- If you are going up to Hoh Rain Forest - you might want to take a day trip up to Neah Bay and go out to the northern most point of the continental US (lower 48).
