An intentional illegal act intended to injure should be prosecutable and subject to civil action, even if it happens
in a game.

Injured by a clean play or an incidental/accidental penalty, nah, you signed up for a rough sport.

But an intentional act like this? That’s just straight up assault and battery.

Should be able to sue for damages including potential loss of NIL in addition to ordinary damages for pain and suffering.
