-whomever would transfer to BYU would have to be MUCH better than Retzlaff. Like just clearly better. There may be some QBs that think they are but there probably aren't many that think they could overcome an established starter. I don't think there's a current QB in the portal that would do that.

-who, of the QB transfers that BYU would even have had a slight chance with that did go in the portal this year would have definitely beaten out JR even if ARod had wasn't convinced JR was the guy? I can't think of one. Maybe there was.
