Case in point - when Colorado brought pressure which they did a lot, we always had a safety valve open. On one particular play Parker Kingston hesitated at the line like he was going to block and then slanted just behind the rush for a quick drop pass from Jake. He ran for almost 20 or so yards after the catch. This happened a lot.
The effective use of our running backs was also designed very well by ARod. And even though running Bohanon as a wildcat wasn’t as effective as I would have liked, it did some damage. And Colorado was probably not ready for it.
Our main issues on offense right now have to do with Jake’s decision making. I truly believe we will see a Jake level up this next year in that department.
