bodes well for a solid ranking to start next season. Starting a season with a top 15-20 ranking helps a ton to climb the rankings early and get media and committee attention. I know preseason rankings are pretty worthless but it still helps and avoids having to fight your way into the rankings when playing the more meanigless early season games.
After being ranked at the bottom of the Big12 preseason rankings this year, I suspect BYU and ASU will be ranked in the top three or four of the conference going into next season. We have a pretty favorable schedule next season. Playing at Iowa St will likely be our toughest game and at Tx Tech will likely be tough.
But, sigh, the long wait for next season begins...
