Option 1 - CFP stays EXACTLY as is. This includes potential for 3 bids for the league if we can get some star power and consistent contenders. This also comes with risk of P2 abandoning the current CFP and starting their own, leaving us relegated. Lastly, there's still risk of being pigeon holed as a 1 bid league, no better than G5

Option 2 - Expand to 16. SEC and B1G are guaranteed 5 bids each year. B12 and ACC are guaranteed 2 bids each. G5 given 1 bid. 1 at large for ND or otherwise. You basically guarantee access more than just champ, you have guaranteed better treatment than G5, but you accept your plight as inferior to the mighty P2.
