I remember during that brief period of time in the mid 2000s that Bill Riley was the BYU radio guy for KSL,
he became obsessed with the idea that BYU would have a ceiling as a power conference team because of the honor code.
It wasn’t long after that that he bailed to 700 to be the voice of the Utes.
As with most other things he has said, Bill Riley was wrong. BYU with resources can sell recruits on the unique advantages of BYU.
