The impact this had on our chances was appropriately devastating. Any team that does this is likely to lose their chance at the CFP. We used to have a disadvantage, but we now have control of our own destiny. If we hadn’t lost both these games, we would be in. A victim mentality is no longer valid in my opinion.

The bowl game was a nice redemption from those losses.
