Middle for 7 yards instead of risking a sack (or worse). Then get a good punt off to flip the field. Play field position.

Meanwhile, Colorado (drive 1) goes for it on 4th at the 50 yd line and doesn't get it giving us great field position.

Result: we go down and score a touchdown.

I don't understand why teams don't play field position with us. I would force us to sustain long drives if I was scheming against BYU.
