Dude, we dominated a ranked team that was favored. We weren’t playing a D2 team and won 36-14 when we should have been
In the 50s, instead we took a high powered offense and shut it down and had the potential to score 50 against the Heisman winner and his ranked team.
We still scored 36.
Were we perfect? No. But was 1984 an “amateur” squad because we barely beat Hawaii??
It was an awesome game, and it kinda sucks for you that you couldn’t find a way to enjoy it.
