IF BYU is profitable on 1st and 2nd downs
That eases the 3rd and 4th down pressure even more. Unfortunately, I think there is too bad of muscle memory to see a change here for the BYU offense.
If any team is 3rd and long, defenses know you're passing, making the defense play an easy game.
