Basically they can start right out of high school, it is a apprenticeship type program with a local trade school, but they work at Disney for 4 years, and even get paid a little while they do it, plus their education. When they are done, they are a Journeyman, with a regular job offer at Disney moving forward, provided they complete everything.

Overall they were very happy with it, and still at Disney 5+ years after completing their education.
