Not entirely true. Domestic violence is FAR lower now than the 50s or 60s.
Heck, makeup companies marketed their product so woman could cover up bruises (you can find pics of the ads online).
Violent crime MUCH is lower now than the 60s. Rape is much lower now.
Petty crime is higher today, property crimes are higher today
Mass shootings are far higher today.
Fewer serial killers by orders of magnitudes today. More homeless and depression today
