Except in one case, we always have purchased new. We don’t upgrade often and

tend to run vehicles into the ground before we get a new one. Our vehicles have averaged 17-18 years of use before being replaced. We still have a 2001 Ford F-150 Supercrew and a 2006 Grand Voyager. Neither get a lot of use now but they are still going strong.
