We buy clothes there a lot. Since you can't try stuff on at the store, we try it
on at home, often buying a few sizes, then return what doesn't fit. Otherwise, we don't return that much - just the occasional purchase that we had second thoughts on (before opening and using).

My wife's best friend is basically banned from Nordstrom for abusing their return policy. That's hard to do.

I always buy a New Years shirt at the end of the year then return it January 2nd. They’ll never know that I wore it.
