For advice on best vacuum sealer and thanks to advice from the board members, decided on a chamber vacuum sealer. I didn’t even know they were an option before the post on CB.

Got a deal on Vac Friday from JVR. Very happy so far. Way better experience than with the external vacs I used in the past.

So far have managed to seal up wild caught salmon that was marked down, plus some pita bread that was clearanced and some Christmas cookies my wife wanted to try to save.

My wife always knows when the store marks stuff down and immediately loads up on stuff and freezes it. This will allow us to store it longer than those crappy ziplocks that inevitably come open and leave stiff freezer burned and completely dried out.
