I think it depends entirely upon what the draft evaluators tell him, for sure.
If he won't go in the first 4 rounds - then stick around and make some money in Provo for sure.

I just think that he's got more film of being awful than he has film of being great. If he thinks he can make some cash this year and improve his draft stock - then maybe it's worth sticking around. And maybe some of that includes evaluating what other OL have declared for the draft and who he'll be competing with next year.

I also think that if he's got a chance of going as high as he think he can now - then get while the getting is good. Yes - there are stories of people improving their draft stock - he's one of them. There are also stories of other people's draft stock taking a hit depending on how the year goes. What if he gets some low-grade injury that allows him to keep playing but he doesn't perform as well as he did this year?

I generally think that if players get a good draft evaluation and believe they are going to get taken early enough to stick on a roster - they should go. The only reason I don't say "they should absolutely go" is because NIL changes this a little - and can be taken into consideration as far as future earnings as a player.
