Horrible food is mostly just preference. I like blue cheese my kids don’t. Big whoop. (being rude is not something we tolerate but having preferences and eating what they like is a-ok)

Horrible taste in music and movies can be an issue if it’s “bad” AND if that music/movie creeps into actual personality.

Not being able to take a joke often means someone takes themselves to seriously and has too much of an ego- alternatively “bad jokes” that are less funny and more just obscene takes on a completely different character issue (also largely indicative of arrogance)
