What was more shocking is that it wasn't correlated with small pay checks... some had big continuous pay checks coming in and they would throw a fit about having to wait. How long they had to wait always varied on situation and bank the check was written from but sometimes it would be available the next morning and they'd flip out about needing to pay a bill or something
