The S4 had a lower/stiffer suspension that made finding good winter tires difficult (even sizing down).

However, my normal AWD A4s were absolute beasts in the snow with most all-season tires.

FWD and understeer is against my religion. I absolutely despise the feel behind the wheel, I'd deal with RWD oversteer
