I Love “A Christmas Carol” by Dickens.
I’m watching the 1951 movie version with Alastair Sim tonight.
Just one complaint. When Scrooge was with the Spirit of the Future why couldn’t he guess that the person’s death everyone was celebrating was his own? After all, he was a savy, brilliant businessman with a good feel for things.
Anyway, I love the message of a A Christmas Carol. Be kind and fair to people. You can always change for the better. It’s never too late. All of us were dealt some bad cards. (Scrooge’s father didn’t like him because he lost his wife when she gave birth to Ebeneezer) I think it is very obvious that Charles Dickens was a good Christian.
Merry Christmas everyone.
