Thanks for the advice…
I had never thought about looking on the web. I going to have to talk with my mother about his unit. That could be a lot of fun.

I know he went through Jerusalem, Tehran, Iraq and finished the war in China where my grandmother swore he caught TB swimming in the Yangtze River.

He was an interesting man, he hopped a train in Ogden, and head for the World Fair in New York. I don’t know if he ever made it but I do
know he tried.

He did a lot of things in his life and the only thing he ever really talked about was playing baseball on some traveling team. Maybe that’s how he coped with the War.

My advice to all would be to get things written and compiled before it’s too late.
