I think George Bailey's character speaks to fathers who imperfectly try hard.
I've always enjoyed that show and felt the spirit of the message. I feel I really got it as a dad. Wanting to provide the world and wrestling with the reality of not being able to. However, learning that I have so much despite what I lack. Jimmy Stewart did a great job. It's a fantastic older film.
