I just watched 8-bit Christmas for the first time last night. I was excited to find out it took place in my hometown of Batavia, IL. Sadly, I learned afterwards that it was filmed in Toronto.

Like Jake, I sold a LOT of Christmas wreaths in Batavia, only a few years after that movie took place. I didn’t win anything, but I DID get to go to scout camp. Everything… totally accurate 😁.
