I get it, Clegg is a great talent. But Ute dude is gracious and not wrong in terms of their track record over at least a couple decades at that position.

Now, the "always" part....your team just went 5-7. Your coach is not long for this world. Not sure it particularly matters, but a whole lotta people in your new conference do not like you. Like at all. You have another P4 program, 45 minutes down the road, that is enjoying a good run of late and appears serious about unshackling its own potential.

I've been around long enough to remember when Utah wasn't all that great anywhere on the field. They could certainly continue to be an effective program. I'm not sure they'll revert back to 1980's-level Utah, but continued success at DE or anywhere else isn't guaranteed.
