Could take a project player out of high school, put them at Ricks and see if they developed into a D1 player.

It also fielded a team of players who agreed to live the honor code, so the players were much more plug and play compared to transfers recruited from other schools.

I think it’s unfortunate the sports programs were shuttered at the other church sponsored schools. There are a lot of LDS athletes who no longer have the opportunity to play competitively for a church school, so they have to choose between the church school or playing somewhere else.
