One of the Christmas treats I enjoy is Jello Popcorn- I make red & green colors.
The worst part for me is popping all the popcorn I need. This year I decided to try using Skinny Pop- no flavors added. While I didn’t do a side by side comparison the end result was good. One bag from Costco ended up making 4 batches.

For those who have never had jello popcorn it’s simple to make- with TONS of sugar, corn syrup, & butter with a box of jello. (I pick cherry & lime) melt it all in a pot than poor and mix it to coat popcorn. Throw it in the oven for 10 minutes.

Takes about 20 minutes to do one batch from start to finish.

One other hack- you line the cookie sheet with parchment paper. After you pull it out of the oven you let it cool and than remove it. I’ve tried non stick and pam to stop it from sticking. You want as much of the sugary goodness as possible with the popcorn. It always results in lost good volume. This year I used my heat gun on low and the wax paper pealed off the popcorn smooth as can be. Saved a ton of work.

I’m sure some think this sounds gross then it’s not for you. My family likes it and neighbors (at least they tell me they do)
