These would have been more entertaining games:
#5 Notre Dame vs #12 Clemson
#6 Ohio St vs #11 SMU (okay, not this one)
#7 Tennessee vs #10 Arizona St
#8 Indiana vs #9 Boise St
And next week would be better than what we're gonna get:
#5 Notre Dame vs #4 Penn St
#6 Ohio St vs #3 Texas
#7 Tennessee vs #2 Georgia
#8 Indiana vs #1 Oregon
Okay, maybe not that last one but that should be the benefit of being the 1 seed and you replace likely noncompetitive games with just that 1.
If you want better games get rid of autobyes for conference champions.
