I’ve always done Verbo and I’ve never considered an arrangement like this

At one point, we ended up in kind of like a basement apartment for a couple days in Hawaii while the owners were living upstairs. That wasn’t abundantly clear when we booked it.

I think they all worked nights in Honolulu and so we didn’t notice them and barely saw them coming and going, but that was weird enough. Had a nice pool that was totally private, and also happened to be my chief reason for picking it out, but I wouldn’t do anything like that again, let alone the Airbnb arrangement described in this thread.
