Most draft picks are drafted purely on potential and honestly most never

live up to it.
Demin is a good player no doubt but his performance thus far doesn’t scream lottery pick to me either. He actually reminds me of a Josh Giddey type player. Good player comp I think. Giddey has averaged about 13pts, 7rebs and 5 assists. So definitely a good player but not an all star.

NBA scouts aren't focused on stats. Catchings has length athleticism and skills.
