That is not a win the world respects because SMU is not a powerhouse program and they themselves beat absolutely nobody this year. Nobody.
Let’s see how they do today. But 11-1 BYU with signature wins over SMU and ASU (in the CCG) would have gotten us into the playoff but would not have impressed people.
