Basically he benefitted from getting a year back when the NCAA changed the transfer rule to stop requiring a year in residency before being eligible to play. He got a second bonus year due to COVID. Then he has a medical redshirt from 2023. The only seasons he's played that counted against his 4 playing seasons were 2021 and 2022.
