That would require a major change in NCAA rules, because that type of contract would not be enforceable or legal
under existing rules. The transfer portal killed any of these potential types of contracts. Every player has the option, twice a year, to opt out of whatever financial aid agreement they signed with their school. The court cases that led to the transfer portal basically said that NCAA players are entitled to be free agents each year on a yearly basis.
