gear was more "water resistant" than "waterproof" and was wet and chilled to the bone.  I was soaking wet and shivering.  My family had all abandoned me to find a dry place to watch the game but I was intent on "enjoying" the seats we purchased.

For reasons I cannot explain, I carried in a bag full of dry clothes.  (I must not have had complete faith in my waterproofed exterior.)  I went to a restroom and changed from my wet clothes, then found my family to watch the rest of the game under a covered area of the stadium.  That was a very wet game.
