Because both of these rosters are pretty putrid.

I thought coming into the year that the Broncos had maybe the worst skill position players in the league. Their defensive improvement is what’s carried them, but it’s still impressive they are winning games.

The Chargers literally had to dump half of their veterans this offseason and do a reset. And yet this team is now better than probably all of the previous Herbert teams.

I mean, none will win the Super Bowl or anything, coaches aren’t miracle workers. But pretty good still.
